Toiletry Grade Fragrances
All our toiletry grade fragrances are, as you'd expect, suitable for all likely applications including use in CP (cold process) soap-making. They are manufactured without diluents that can cause 'seizing' in CP soaps, although you may find that some still cause a speeding-up to a gel state, so we advise taking suitable caution until you know yourself how easy they are to use. I.E. expect to have to get the fragrance stirred in and the soap poured to your mould as quickly as possible to avoid disturbing the soap once it starts to gel. Many you'll find are extremely easy to use, giving you all the time you need. No such problems exist with inclusion in other products such as toiletry bases and Melt & Pour soaps.
Candle Grade Fragrances
All our candle grade fragrances are in diluents suitable for wax inclusion. Many are also skin-friendly and are suitable for soaps and toiletries, but equally, many are not. You will notice when shopping that we code all the candle fragrances. This is for our information only, to ensure the correct type of fragrance is sent when ordering specifically for candle compatibility. Copy-Cat Fragrances
All our copycat designer-named fragrances are manufactured using comparible quality ingredients to originals. This is to ensure the fragrance is matched as faithfully as possible. They are all obviously skin-friendly and are CP soap compatible. They are Full Strength fragrances, so should not be put on the skin undiluted. They are entirely suitable for inclusion in soaps and toiletries at regular recommended inclusions. If wanting to use them as a perfume, they need to be added to a suitable diluent. We would recommend Iso Propyl Myristate as a non-alcoholic, skin-friendly diluent. Use approximately 15% fragrance to 85% diluent. This product is available to buy on our shopping site.
Flavours
Our flavours are mainly designed for inclusion in cosmetics which, like lip balms and lip glosses, are obvious candidates for adding interesting flavours to. They are all manufactured to food standards and are therefore suitable as flavours for edibles like sweets, candies, cake icing, soft drinks and similar applications.
